Song Of The Day: Dawn Penn, “You Don’t Love Me”
The funny thing about this song was that I first heard it during an episode of one of the best TV shows of all time, Homicide, which ran from 1993-1999. This song was released in 1993 and the scene in which they used it was, putting it mildly, vivid. It was sampled eight years later by Philly’s own Eve, featuring a young Stephen Marley.
