Song of the Day: Jimi Hendrix, “Somewhere”
I was watching a new episode of Hawaii Five-0 the other day, when all of a sudden I heard something both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. How is that possible, you ask? The unmistakable guitar of Jimi Hendrix was easily recognizable, however this song certainly wasn’t. I immediately Googled it and was very pleased to find out there would be an album of unreleased Hendrix songs arriving in March. How nice was it for a mainstream TV show to give us a preview, and that brings us to today’s song.
