Zama Philly – Best of the Celebrity Roll Series

When Chef Zama approached us with a desire to do good in the community, we saw a great opportunity to connect him with some of our other clients and contacts, including Phillies pitcher Ryan Madson and DJ ?uestlove of the Roots. Each celebrity lends their name to specialty sushi rolls created alongside Chef Zama, like Madson’s “Mad Dog Roll” and ?uestlove’s “Drum Roll.” The rolls appear on Zama’s menu, and $1 from each roll sold is donated to a charity of the celebrity’s choice. This campaign effectively helps Zama give back to the Philadelphia community, and provides exciting new menu options for his loyal customers. These delicious celebrity rolls have been wildly popular, becoming his best selling menu items while garnering a Best of Philly award from Philadelphia Magazine. Combined with Zama’s tsunami relief efforts, over $50,000 has been raised thus far.
