Song Of The Day: Charles Bradley, “How Long”
Charles Bradley hasn’t had an easy life; listen closely and you can hear that heartache in this song. It’s not every day when a record label signs a 60+ year old singer to their first recording contract. His talent is obvious though, so better late than never. This is “How Long,” from his 2011 debut. Earlier this month he released a new album that features songs with noticeably more uplifting lyrics. I can’t wait to listen to it.
