Song of the Day: Dr. John, “Getaway”

Another one of the best tracks from 2012. Is it a coincidence that Dr. John sounds as relevant as he did in the 70s because Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys produced his latest album? I’m just saying…My biggest regret of last year was not going to Brooklyn to see them perform together. Especially after seeing the Black Keys twice including a killer show in Paris last January.
