Song of the Day: The Black Keys / RZA, “The Baddest Man Alive”

What better way to close out 2012 than with a bang, or more directly a fist?

“The Baddest Man Alive” is a collaboration between RZA and the Black Keys that appeared on the soundtrack for The Man With The Iron Fists. The second hip-hop collaboration by the Black Keys, who won three Grammy awards in 2011, and it’s got that retrofied feel that most of the Black Keys’ work does, but with a classic hip-hop veneer applied to it through a driving beat. It’s also, in a way, motivation for 2013.
